GROWING UP IN A WORLD OF ALGORITHMS
Never before has the lives of children and young people been shaped so strongly by technology.
Never before have questions about their safety, development, and well-being been so important.
We invite you to join a conversation that must keep pace with this change.
For twenty years, we have invited you to join the conversation about children’s online safety. We began at a time when children spent only a few hours a week online. We asked ourselves, “Who is on the other side?”. We faced the rise of smartphones, social media, and a world in which being online became part of everyday life. Together, we explored issues such as cyberbullying, online grooming, and harmful content. Together, we went through the pandemic, which increased the presence of screens in children’s lives on an unprecedented scale.
Today, we have moved even further – children are growing up in a reality shaped by algorithms, AI, and a constant stream of content. That is why we must continue working to keep them safe.
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN THE 20TH SAFER INTERNET CONFERENCE!
The world of algorithms is not slowing down.
Neither can we.
Join the anniversary Safer Internet Conference and, together with experts, educators, researchers, and representatives of social organizations and public institutions, look for answers to the challenges of ensuring the safety of children and young people growing up in a world of algorithms.
