We teach adults how to respond wisely and effectively to violence against children, and what to do when they suspect a child is being harmed. We support and engage parents in raising children with love and respect. We also work to influence Polish law to ensure it best protects the interests of the child. NASK National Research Institute is a state research institute supervised by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. It conducts scientific and research-and-implementation activities in the field of security, reliability, and efficiency of ICT networks. NASK manages the .PL domain registry and operates as a telecommunications provider. A key area of NASK’s activity is ensuring internet safety.

The Polish Safer Internet Centre (PCPSI) has been working since 2005 to ensure the online safety of children and young people. It was established under the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme and is currently operating within the Digital Europe Programme.

The Centre is formed by the National Research Institute NASK and the Empowering Children Foundation. Together, they implement educational, research, and support activities aimed at children, young people, parents, teachers, and other professionals.

PCPSI’s activities include educating and enhancing the competencies of professionals in the area of children’s online safety, educating children and young people, providing support to children and families experiencing online threats, and counteracting illegal content on the internet.

The Polish Safer Internet Centre includes, among others, the helplines: the Helpline for Children and Young People 116 111, the Helpline for Parents and Teachers on Children’s Online Safety 800 100 100, and Dyżurnet.pl – a hotline for reporting illegal online content.
